LazyDbBackup is a multilingual backup extension for Joomla. Its available in english, frensh, german and spanisch language. LazyDbBackup makes a backup of your MySQL database and send it to your specified e-mail adress. Its also possible to save the backup file in a specified folder and download it by ftp. The download of LazyDbBackup is free. JoomXtensions provide it for Joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3.x. It's also native to the former version, Joomla 1.5.
